Warm Front and High Winds
It was a dark gloomy day all day and I was watching the trees blow in the wind from the comfort of my couch trying to talk myself into going out to hunt. After an hour or two of the sportsman's channel I motivated myself to go out.

The stand location has two things going for it 1 it is on a ridge line, 2 it is above a pinch point. The only knock is it is too open. I hunted for about two hours and didn't see a thing. The wind was gusting at about 20MPH and it was 67 degrees when I got out of my stand. It has been averaging 50 degrees so a very unusual night for hunting.
