Rained Out: Camping and Fly Fishing Penns Creek

I head to Penns Creek on a Friday after work. I heard thunder in the distance as I was suiting up. As soon as I got on the water it started to rain. The wild browns of Penns Creek were still raising and I managed to catch two after many rejections. About 45 minutes the rain became too heavy. I headed to a near-by campsite and made camp in the back of my truck for the night. The next day I ran into another angler I was talking to in the parking lot the night before. He had caught a fish or two above me. After some conversation we fished together for the rest of the day.
